Performance / Fashion Show - Spectacular Spectacular
Neighbourhood Dance Works and three of our favourite clothing boutiques come together for an exciting runway extraganza. This event combines traditional runway presentation with performances and costume creations by some of our best known and loved performing artists and fashion models.
World premier film screening of iDuB St. John’s, directed and edited by Martha Carter.
This exciting project, originally showcased during the Festival of New Dance 2006, follows local dance artists, and MMHoP of Vancouver, through their creative process and thrilling interactive multi-media dance performance at the 2006 Festival of New Dance.
The Best of Burlesque
Our ever popular Burlesque event arrives just in time for Valentine’s Day. Come out to take the chill off those cold February nights with some of the hottest performances in town at NDW’s wildly popular burlesque cabaret.
So Think You Can Dance?
We’re going for something new! NDW’s own version of the popular TV series. Local celebrities will be on board to judge the best of our local dancers in flamenco, belly-dance, hip-hop, and latin. The audience gets a chance to vote too!
